In the long river of aviation development, the DHC-2 "Beaver" designed by de Havilland Canada stands as a unique and dazzling star.

The Beaver was originally designed to meet the need for transporting small groups of people and cargo in wilderness areas. At the time, Canada's vast and complex terrain—with its expansive wild forests, mountain ranges, and a web of rivers and lakes—urgently required an aircraft capable of operating in harsh environments. In 1946, based on market research and feedback from pilots, de Havilland Canada decided to develop a rugged, multi-purpose aircraft that could take off and land in harsh conditions. Through market studies, they gathered pilots' requirements for the new aircraft's performance. Pilots universally desired a powerful plane with exceptional Short Take-Off and Landing (STOL) capabilities, adaptable to wheeled, skid, or float. Even though engineers warned that such a design would compromise cruise performance, pilots believed that as long as it was faster than dog sleds and could deliver heavy cargo to remote areas, it would succeed!

Once launched, the Beaver became one of the most legendary bush planes of the 20th century, symbolizing wilderness exploration with its outstanding STOL abilities and reliability. Primarily used as a bush plane, it served various purposes: transporting goods and passengers, aerial work (including crop spraying and aerial fertilization), and civil aviation tasks.

RTF (Ready to Fly) airplanes come with everything you need to fly in the box. A transmitter, receiver, battery, charger, and all other required electronics are included and pre-installed from the factory.
PNP (Plug-and-Play) airplanes include the ESC, motor, and servos all pre-installed from the factory. A transmitter, receiver, battery, and charger are not included.
EPO foam can bubble or deform in high heat. To prevent this, avoid leaving foam models in direct sunlight when not in use.
The RC airplane is perfect for modelers aged 12 and up, and for kids under 12 with parental supervision.

A: The PNP version is not equipped with gyro functionality. This feature is provided exclusively with the RTF version, which incorporates a 3-in-1 receiver unit (RX, gyro, 12A ESC).

Q: What do the gyro actually do in the RTF version?
A: A gyro acts like an invisible co-pilot, continuously correcting for turbulence and unintended pitch, roll, or yaw so the plane stays level and predictable, even when you let go of the sticks.

Q: How can the PNP version obtain gyro-stabilized flight performance?
A: The PNP airframe is supplied without a gyro; however, stability can be added by installing the Reflex V3 flight controller (available separately). The unit offers three pilot-selectable modes—Stabilized, Optimized, and Manual—to make every flight smoother and safer.
